Air New Zealand's cancelled more than a thousand Australian flights through to the end of the year

The airline says it's due to border uncertainty.

Chief Customer and Sales Officer Leanne Geraghty says they've decided to change the schedule given travel between Australia and New Zealand is unlikely to go ahead this year.

Around one-thousand flights will be cancelled, with around 20-thousand customers expected to be impacted.
