Council animal control workers in Opotiki have uplifted 22 dogs from a single property - after reports of animal attacks

Council animal control workers in Opotiki have uplifted 22 dogs from a single property - after reports of animal attacks

Four dogs were put down in September after a young woman was seriously injured.

The owner soon after surrendered 13 puppies from the same property.

And after Boxing Day, a woman in her 60s was badly frightened when four dogs rushed and surrounded her.

A council investigation led staff to the same property and four unregistered dogs were impounded.
