Relief for former Qantas workers after the airline's been fined 90 million dollars for illegally sacking workers during the pandemic

Relief for former Qantas workers after the airline's been fined 90 million dollars for illegally sacking workers during the pandemic

The court's found Qantas outsourced baggage handlers, cleaners, and ground staff in 2020 to stymie union bargaining.

More than 1800 people lost jobs.

Former staffer, Anna, told Sky News today's sentence is a victory for all Australian workers, so this doesn't happen to them.

Qantas says it accepts the judgment, and sincerely apologises to all affected.
