Timothée Chalamet has been confirmed as one of the hosts of 'Saturday Night Live' in December

The 'Beautiful Boy' star will front the December 12 episode of the late night entertainment show, when the musical guest will be music icon Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band

Action star Jason Bateman is set to host on December 5, with country star Morgan Wallen set to perform.

And on December 19, 'Bridesmaids' star Kristen Wiig will be joined by pop megastar Dua Lipa.

Morgan has been given a second chance by 'SNL', after they cancelled his performance in October, after he broke COVID-19 rules to go partying at the University of Alabama without wearing a mask.

Pictures and videos of the singer at the bash went viral on TikTok.

And he later addressed his axing and admitted he completely understood why they made the decision to drop him from the bill.

He told his Instagram followers: "I was getting ready for 'SNL' this Saturday and I got a call from the show letting me know that I would no longer be able to play. And that's because of COVID protocols, which I understand."

Morgan admitted his actions were "pretty short-sighted" and could have potentially put the show "in jeopardy."

The 27-year-old star added: "I'd like to apologise to 'SNL', to my fans, to my team, for bringing me these opportunities. I let them down.

"I wish I could've made country music and my fans proud but I respect the decision once again.

"On a more personal note, I think I have some growing up to do. I think I've lost myself a little bit. I've tried to find joy in the wrong places. I don't know. It's left me with less joy, so I'm going to go try to work on that. I'm going to take a step back from the spotlight for a little while and go work on myself."
