Terry Crews' wife suffered three miscarriages

The 'America's Got Talent' presenter - who has Naomi, 37, Azriél, 33, Tera, 26, Wynfrey, 21, and Isaiah, 19, with spouse Rebecca King-Crews - was left moved on this week's semi-final because of Sky Elements' performance, a drone show that illustrated a story about losing a child, because of the heartbreak he and his wife experienced.

Terry, 56, told People magazine: "Me and my wife, we know what it's like to lose a child.

"We've had three miscarriages. It's one of those things where it was so meaningful and special because the dedication is just, it's a way to process these things.

"And how he brought that up, I was like, 'Wow.' I think the show needed it. ... This is the perfect 'AGT' show today.

"We balanced out everything. We had the laughs, we had the dedications, we had the fun, we had the dancing. It was just all over the place and it was perfect."

Terry values the bond he has with Rebecca and knows they can always turn to one another for support, whatever they are going through.

Asked what helps him through difficult times, he said: "One thing I do is music.

"I sit in a room and listen to music and it helps me process ... all the things I'm feeling.

"Then the other thing is I just talk to my wife. We talk it out. We have really, really nice long, deep conversation. Turn the TV off, turn the phone off and let's just talk it through.

"And it's amazing what that does. You know what I mean? Definitely. It really, truly, you turn around an hour later you're like, 'Wow, I can handle anything.' "

The 'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' actor previously admitted he used to start fights with his wife to ddiction.

Speaking on 'Armchair Expert', he said: "My wife man, I tell her: 'How did you put up with me?'... You try to be normal and nice, but I would be angry, I would go off ... I was addicted to pornography ...

"It was a secret, I would die before anybody knew ... I would lie straight out and that also started guilt. So I was walking around a human pile of guilt.

"And so my wife would go: 'Where were you?' And I would go: 'What do you mean where was I? Why are you always checking where I am?' ... I'd start an argument so she wouldn't ask more questions. Poor woman ... It was horrible."

Terry admitted he also took out his anger on the couple's five children, adding: "My kids, I would be angry with them for getting in the way."
