    Peter Andre's mother's speech is "almost non-existent"

The Mysterious Girl hitmaker revealed in 2023 that his 88-year-old mother Thea is battling Parkinson's and Alzheimer's and as he wished her and his father Savvas a happy 70th wedding anniversary, he revealed his mum isn't able to express her own happiness about celebrating the milestone

He wrote in his column for new! magazine: "I'm so very grateful that my wonderful mum and dad have celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary this week. I love them so much, and I prayed for this moment for them.

"They have received a wonderful letter from the King, and although Mum's speech is almost non-existent now, I know that her heart will be filled with warmth because of all the love and support.

"Happy 70th wedding anniversary, Mum and Dad inspiration to us all."

Earlier this year, the 52-year-old singer - who has Junior, 20, and Princess, 18, with ex-wife Katie Price, as well as Amelia, 11, Theo, eight, and 17-month-old Arabella with spouse Emily - revealed how "emotional" it was when he paid a visit to see his parents in Australia and witnessed their "decline" firsthand.

He wrote in his column in January: "Being with my mum and dad in Australia was incredible but, understandably, also very emotional.

"I went with my brother, Michael, and we got to spend quality time with my sister as well.

"The hardest bit for me is leaving them. Both Mum and Dad are on the decline, unfortunately, especially my mum."

Last year, Peter admitted he was "praying" his parents would still be around for their 70th anniversary.

He said: "My parents marked their 69th wedding anniversary recently, which is amazing. Their relationship is so inspiring, their love has always been something I've looked up to. I'm praying they make it safely to their 70th anniversary next year.

"It's really tough to see your parents get old or sick, but I'm also so grateful as I know how lucky I am to still have parents around. A lot of people don't have that. I will be going to Australia to see them soon."

And the Flava singer admitted he was struggling to "come to terms" with his mum's health troubles.

He wrote: "Although I thank God my parents are still here, I am seeing the rapid decline, especially in Mum. I find that part hard to deal with.

"Like most people, l'm so close to my parents that it is really difficult to come to terms with."
