SZA was "mad" when she piled on the pounds during her recovery from a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL)

The 'Saturn' singer underwent the cosmetic procedure to enhance the shape and size of her buttocks and though she admits she loves twerking her voluptuous booty, in hindsight, she admits it was "unnecessary" to have a BBL

She told British Vogue: "I'm so mad I did that s***.

"I gained all this weight from being immobile while recovering and trying to preserve the fat. It was just so stupid.

"But who gives a f***? You got a BBL, you realise you didn't need the s***. It doesn't matter."

SZA insists she is not put off doing anything else to her body, but she admits she should focus on her "mental health" first.

She said: "I'll do a whole bunch more s*** just like it if I want to before I'm f****** dead because this body is temporary. It just wasn't super necessary - I have other s*** that I need to work on about myself... I need to get my f****** mental health together..."

Despite having regrets about having the surgery - which removes fat from other areas of the body - SZA loves how it looks.

She added: "But I love my butt. Don't get me wrong. My booty look nice. And I'm grateful that it looks pretty much... I don't know, sometimes natural, but I don't even care. It's something that I wanted. I'm enjoying it. I love shaking it."

The 35-year-old singer has been open about her struggles with her mental health and previously revealed she has three different therapists.

Since becoming one of the biggest stars on the planet with her album 'SOS', the 'Kill Bill' hitmaker has found it difficult to adjust to being in the spotlight and admits she has lashed out in "frustration" due to the immense pressure she is under, which is so debilitating it makes her not want to leave the house.

She told Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1: "So I've been really trying to get my spiritual hygiene together because I realised as of recent that a lot of this [redacted] is not normal. And I didn't know how to process that experience. And I was having a lot of lashing out and a lot of frustration. And there's a lot of opinions, a lot of entitlement to your space, a lot of entitlement to your time, a lot of expectation."

Instead of taking medication, she has been going down the spiritual cleansing route.

She shared: "I have three different kinds of therapists. I have a hypnotherapist, I have a talk therapist, and then they tried to give me a psychiatrist, but I'm not taking any of those drugs."
