Christina Ricci has opened up about getting a creepy picture aged 11 from a "pervert" after a series of prank calls she and her friends made to a salesman

The actress, 45, revealed the unsettling moment from her childhood, revealing she received a graphic photo from a man following a call made when she was a youngster to a mattress store

She said during an appearance on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!': "We prank-called them so much we ended up having a regular guy we'd talk to named Jared.

The calls, made to 1-800-Mattress, took a dark turn when one of Christina's friends gave the man their address.

Christina added: "He sent a picture of his penis in the mail."

She said the image had been printed at a store, adding: "That certainly was the first d*** pic I saw."

Christina said the incident happened in the early 1990s when she and a group of friends repeatedly prank-called the mattress hotline.

Host Jimmy Kimmel responded: "Jared invented the d*** pic really. He gets an 'A' for effort. He also gets a 'P' for pervert."

Christina, best known for her roles in films including 'Casper', 'The Addams Family' and the TV series 'Yellowjackets', shared the story while discussing her 10-year-old son Freddie's interest in the concept of 1990s sleepovers.

She said: "He's very obsessed with the sleepovers we used to have.

"You'd go over, hang out, the mom would drive you to Blockbuster to pick two movies, then you'd hit the grocery store for snacks, stay up all night watching movies, and finish with 'Saturday Night Live.' He thinks that sounds so fun."

Christina had Freddie with her ex-husband James Heerdegen, to whom she was married from 2013 to 2020.

Their divorce became bitter, with Christina alleging James was "vindictive" for not allowing Freddie to travel to New York City with her, according to court documents.

The actress also has a three-year-old daughter named Cleo with her current husband, Mark Hampton, who she married in 2021.

Christina did not disclose whether law enforcement was involved following the incident with the photo, and no further details about the man known as Jared have been made public.
