Selena Gomez marries music producer Benny Blanco in star-studded ceremony

Singer, actor and beauty mogul Selena Gomez marries music producer Benny Blanco, with US media reporting Taylor Swift was in attendance at the star-studded affair.

Singer, actor and beauty mogul Selena Gomez has married music producer Benny Blanco, with her social media announcement surpassing more than 1 million likes within minutes.

The star shared a series of images and videos of the pair's big day to her 417 million Instagram followers, a figure which makes her the most-followed woman on the social media platform.

Gomez's caption confirmed the couple wed on September 27.

According to Vogue, the couple wed in front of 170 guests — including Gomez's close friend Taylor Swift and her Only Murders in the Building co-stars Steve Martin and Martin Short.

Gomez opted for a custom halter-neck satin gown, which was designed by Ralph Lauren, and carried a lily of the valley bouquet.

Gomez and Blanco announced their engagement last December, with Gomez sharing a series of images of her ring on Instagram with the caption: "forever begins now".

The pair began dating in 2023 after being introduced years earlier and collaborating on multiple records, including Same Old Love, I Can't Get Enough and Single Soon.

In an interview with influencer Shane Jake last month, Gomez said she "couldn't be more excited" about marrying Blanco.

"I just have never really felt so sure about something — and I also don't want to jinx it by saying that."
