Stevie Nicks wants to have "every outfit" she's ever worn turned into a Barbie doll

The 77-year-old singer has announced her second Barbie Signature doll inspired by her first solo album Bella Donna, and she is delighted to have another style immortalised by the iconic Mattel toy, particularly after the original Rumours-inspired figure

She told PEOPLE Magazine: "It's almost like you almost kind of had to do that.

"I mean, of course, they didn't have to do that for me, but I explained, 'It's like they go hand in hand, and then they blend in and out of each other for the rest of my life.'

"They're a story of my whole musical life. If I have a legacy, if I have 'What do I leave behind that is sacred?' I think that it'd be Barbie.

"Rumours and Bella Donna Barbie are a huge part of what I leave behind when I go on to the next planet.

"I'd like to have every outfit that I've ever had made into a Barbie doll. [But] these are the two best ones."

The new Bella Donna Barbie sports a frock with angel sleeves, paired with white boots and a top hat.

Stevie explained: "The first Barbie is all in her black. And then I purposely, in my life, when I did the Bella Donna cover, I said, 'No. I have to wear the exact opposite. I have to wear all-white.'

"And then I eventually, of course, went back to black... They had to be standing there together."

The Fleetwood Mac legend previously revealed she stopped wearing black for a while because she was tired of being described as a "witch".

She told Rolling Stone magazine: "I got freaked out at one point. People were writing about me being a witch, and I stopped wearing black and I made the girls stop wearing black, too. [Designer] Margi [Kent] made us all-new pale-pastel outfits; it was the Eighties. And then we all looked at each other one day and said, 'Why are we wearing these Easter egg dresses? This is not us.'

"But I have all those outfits. That's silk-chiffon stuff, it just never, ever goes away. That's why they use it for sails.

"So it's all in different storage units and cases, and it's very cared for. Because someday it'll go out into the world. I love going through all of it. It's like it's being in a magical closet, like Narnia."
