Kelsea Ballerini and Chase Stokes are back together again

The couple split in September after three years together, before briefly reconciling for a few weeks, and now they have vowed to "learn from mistakes" after giving their romance yet another try.

Sharing photos of himself with Kelsea, 32, the Outer Banks actor wrote on Instagram: "Something I've learned this year: don't take advantage of the most beautiful things that in 33 years of life are fleeting.

"Take accountability, learn from mistakes. Lean into love and say it often. 2026 my year of growth, my year of truth. Starting here, starting now. Happy new years."

The Emerald City singer noted 2025 had been a "messy year for the heart" but she "believes" in her relationship with Chase, 33.

She wrote on her Instagram Story: "Messy year for the heart, messy year for the outside coming in, messy year for the way it became an out of our hands portrayal of it. But what i'll say, and all i really care to share indefinitely with my personal life anymore, is that i really love love. I believe in it, i believe in him, and i believe in breaking patterns.

"go kiss your person and stop speculating.(sic)"

Early in December, Kelsea vowed to be more protective of her personal life.

She wrote: "I'm trying to make my personal life personal for now. Unless it comes from me, it's not from me, and that is really important in protecting my peace right now."

In September, a source claimed that Chase and Kelsea split after "arguing a lot".

The insider told Us Weekly: "It was a hard split.

"They had been arguing a lot recently, and their communication wasn't great in the last month. They were both travelling so much and trying to juggle everything, and the arguments piled up."

But they pair reconciled, only for Chase to be left "heartbroken" when they parted ways again.

Speaking to Us Weekly, a source said: "Chase is heartbroken. It's been nonstop ups and downs."

Chase recently alluded to the turbulence in his love life in a series of cryptic posts on social media.

The actor - who previously dated his Outer Banks co-star Madelyn Cline - wrote on Instagram: "I'm blocked, I did nothing wrong. Sorry. I tried"

In a subsequent post, Chase said: "I'm sorry for those who believed in us. It is what it is. Onwards and upwards."
