Margaret Qualley has described Jack Antonoff as her "person" in a rare comment about their marriage

The 31-year-old actress tied the knot with the Bleachers musician in the summer of 2023, and they have long kept their relationship private.

However, she told Vanity Fair magazine: "I've always been very love-oriented. I've always been looking for my person, and I met Jack."

Margaret also revealed they will "for sure" have children one day, although she wouldn't be drawn into giving any baby name hints.

She quipped: "If I did [have any chosen], I wouldn't talk about it."

Despite not wanting to feed curiosity about her personal life, she understands where it comes from.

She said: "I do not look down on gossip. I think gossip is cavemen. Gossip is survival."

However, Margaret is keen to keep her public persona in tact by staying private where possible.

She explained: "I don't feel like I'm always good at representing myself publicly in real time, so I would almost rather say nothing at all?

"Because rather than have the wrong idea about me, someone just wouldn't have any idea about me."

Margaret and Jack, 41, first met "right as COVID was ending", and she previously revealed she knew the I Wanna Get Better hitmaker was the one because she felt "safe" with him.

She told Cosmopolitan magazine: "Falling in love with Jack was the biggest feeling I've ever felt. We met right as COVID was ending, at the first party I'd been to.

"We saw each other on a roof, and we just started talking and never stopped. We went on a series of walks throughout the city that summer.

"In every other relationship I've ever been in, I still felt really lonely because I wasn't with my person, and it's like I was seeking something. I don't feel like that anymore. Jack makes me feel safe and comfortable."

The Substance star admitted after "so many years trying to be someone's perfect girl", she is able to be herself.

She added: "But I can't lie to Jack. I can't be that for him - he'd see through it. So, I just have to be myself.

"He's been the person I've pictured my whole life. And I'm not even saying that metaphorically.

"My first crush was Adam Sandler in Happy Gilmore and Big Daddy, and I've been looking for that essence my whole life. I'm like, 'That's Jack.'"
