Three men have been arrested after armed robberies at two Dunedin petrol stations

The trio are accused of entering the Kaikorai Valley Z Station with a gun on March 23 - and making off with cash and tobacco.

They're accused of two days later driving a vehicle into a Mosgiel Mobil station and again attempting to take cash and cigarettes.

Three men aged 24, 27 and 31have had their first appearance in the Dunedin District Court - and will next appear in May.

Police are also looking for anyone who saw a crash between a car and a bus on Hanover Street about 10.30pm on April 2.
