Police say two people pictured with a ute connected to boy racer hostility in Waikato, had no involvement with the meet

Police say two people pictured with a ute connected to boy racer hostility in Waikato, had no involvement with the meet

Four police cars were rammed at the gathering over the weekend, and an officer got minor injuries.

Police released pictures of the ute, but Detective Sergeant Mike Lee says the people have nothing to do with the gathering, with the vehicle stolen in July and now using false license plates.

He says police are asking for any information on the ute and its occupants.
