Bay of Plenty motorists are being urged to take care, due to icy conditions

Bay of Plenty motorists are being urged to take care, due to icy conditions

    Several crashes have been reported.

Three people are injured -- one critically -- after two vehicles collided on State Highway 30 near Atiamuri, partially blocking the road.

Motorists are also being warned to take care in Otago and Southland, following several days of frost and icy conditions.

Police say shaded areas and bridges can be particularly dangerous.
