A business woman has been blown away by help from the Kaikohe community

A business woman has been blown away by help from the Kaikohe community

A gust of wind blew her business's takings down the main street of the Northland town.

Traffic banked up as motorists stopped to chase after it and snatch up the 10, 20 and 50 dollar bills that were fluttering away.

Medea Goodwin got all the money back, and actually ended up with 10 dollars more than her original 800 dollars.

Goodwin, who owns Hokianga Takeaways in Rawene, says she used to think Kaikohe was a rough place, but her opinion has completely changed.
