A coastal Christchurch community are fed up the Police aren't doing enough about boy racers

A coastal Christchurch community are fed up the Police aren't doing enough about boy racers

Lyttelton Harbour residents are taking matters into their own hands to deal with reckless drivers using the Bank Peninsula roads as a race track.

They're fundraising to hire a portable speed camera and gather evidence to crack down on the problem.

Local councillor, Tyrone Fields wants an adequate Police and legal response that doesn't enable this anti-social road use.
