There's been a strong earthquake off northern Japan, shaking buildings in Tokyo but creating no risk of a tsunami

There've been no reports of injuries or damage.
The Japan Meteorological Agency said the 6.6 magnitude quake hit at 10.27 this morning local time, at a depth of 60 kilometres.
