State Highway Six remains closed between Haast and Fox Glacier in Westland, after a weekend of heavy rain

The deluge has caused flooding, slips and cracks in the road surface.

The Transport Agency confirms the road between Fox Glacier and Ross has re-opened this morning.

A state of emergency has lifted.
