There's no sign of stranded whales in Golden Bay this morning - the first time in five days

There's no sign of stranded whales in Golden Bay this morning - the first time in five days

Almost 50 pilot whales have been found on beaches along the coast since Saturday - with all but four successfully re-floated.

    Four died during re-floating efforts.

Project Jonah says the beaches have been carefully checked since first light, and will continue to be over the coming ways.

It says it's fantastic news after a rollercoaster of emotions in the last five days.
