Wild weather continues across the country today - hitting the upper North Island just in time for tonight's All Blacks game

Wild weather continues across the country today - hitting the upper North Island just in time for tonight's All Blacks game

Motorists travelling across the Auckland Harbour Bridge, are advised to take care, as gusts of up to 85 kilometres per hour are possible - between 1pm and 5pm.

Auckland and Northland are also at risk of thunderstorms.

Strong wind watches are kicking in down south from tomorrow - for Fiordland, Southland, inland Otago, and the Canterbury High Country.

MetService Meteorologist Mmathapelo Makgabutlane says a front's moving across the country.

She says this will bring further snow showers to inland parts of the South Island - and more strong winds to the lower North Island.
