Hamilton's water restrictions are being lifted tomorrow

The City Council's City waters manager Maire Porter says with summer officially over, the Council is confident water demand will remain sustainable.

She says residents still need to use water sustainably and responsibly - especially as the city is facing growing demands.

Water use in Hamilton peaked in January and February - 14 per cent higher than the city's average daily consumption for those months.
