    A 5.2 magnitude earthquake has hit north-west of Levin



    Two minutes after it hit, just over six-thousand people reported feeling it.

    The earthquake was felt in Wellington, with noticeable shaking continuing for about 20 seconds.

    A strong 5.8 quake hit the same area yesterday, followed by more than 40 aftershocks.
