    MetService have extended a red heavy rain warning for Gisborne until 10am tomorrow

    MetService have extended a red heavy rain warning for Gisborne until 10am tomorrow


    Stations in the region have received between 250 and 300 millimetres of rain in a 24 hour period.

    Meanwhile, an orange heavy rain warning has been issued for Hawke's Bay through until 6pm tomorrow.

    Heavy rain warnings and watches for the Bay of Plenty, Taranaki and Taupo have now been lifted.
