Ease of mind for Queenstown locals and visitors following the lifting of a boil water notice

Ease of mind for Queenstown locals and visitors following the lifting of a boil water notice

It's been in place since September, brought on by an outbreak of illness caused by cryptosporidium.

Water regulator Taumata Arowai confirms it's met the requirements of a compliance order.

Mayor Glyn Lewers says it's a huge relief for businesses and residents alike.

He says it's great that it's now consistent across the whole district and people don't have to worry about where they're getting their water from.
