A busy weekend in Christchurch - with three major events closing streets today

A civil memorial service is taking place on the Avon Riverbank to mark the 14th anniversary of the 2011 earthquake, while the second day of Electric Avenue starts at 1.30.

The Navy Charter Parade is also on this afternoon.

Parts of roads around Latimer Square will be closed for the parade, while several streets around Hagley Park are shut until Electric Avenue finishes later tonight.
