    No new hotspots have been picked up today at Tongariro National Park - after the nearly 3000 hectare fire that broke out nearly a week ago


    The Department of Conservation's continuing to lead the response.

    Fire and Emergency crews are still conducting regular thermal imaging flights to ensure the blaze is fully controlled.
