Andrew Kelly's comfortable with having a target on his back at the bowls national championships in Auckland

The Black Jacks representative is the reigning singles champion

One player who was absent last year s current singles world champion Shannon McIlroy who returns.

But Kelly says he's no stranger to expectation having been a member of the national squad.



The nationals are underway this morning with the men's pairs and women's singles qualifying.
