    Dame Lisa Carrington has carried the momentum of a historic gold medal into a 14th career title at the Canoe Sprint World Champs


    The five-time Olympic gold medallist has won her fourth crown in the K1 500 metres - her second title at this year's regatta in Germany.

    Carrington was all smiles moments after stepping out of the boat.



    The result ensures Carrington will compete in the K1 500 at next year's Olympics.
