Friday's NRL match between the Warriors and Cronulla in Wellington will be the first time the Kiwis half faces his old team.

Kearney says he's had very little contact with Johnson since he left last November.

South Sydney captain Sam Burgess has reportedly been ruled out of NRL action indefinitely as he battles an infection which has set back his return from shoulder surgery.

Tiger Woods believes ultimately the British Open offers him the best chance of winning more golf majors as he gets older.

The 43 year old tees off at Royal Portrush in Northern Ireland tomorrow night, hopeful he can contend for his 16th major championship, having not played since last month's US Open.

He says British Open's played on links courses helps older players.

Football Ferns forward Rosie White is relishing the opportunity to play alongside one of the best players in the game after signing with Seattle side Reign FC for the rest of the 2019 season.

White will play with United States forward Megan Rapinoe , who won the World Cup Golden Boot and Golden Ball for best player.
