    Wayne Bennett is confident he will have a new coaching contract in his hand at some stage next week

    The multiple NRL premiership-winning coach has met with the competition's new team the Redcliffe Dolphins in a bid to nut-out a deal for his services.

    The meeting came just two days after the NRL confirmed the Dolphins would be the competition's 17th franchise.

    Bennett believes he can play a part in helping the Dolphins acclimatise to their new waters.
