A big blow for the New Zealand Warriors and their fans, ahead of Sunday's sold-out homecoming match at Mount Smart Stadium

    - article from www.rugbyleague.co.nz

Star fullback Reece Walsh has been ruled out of the clash with the Wests Tigers, after failing a Covid test

The New Zealand women's hockey team is enforcing strict Covid protocols on tour despite the rest of Europe having seemingly moved on.

The Black Sticks face China in their opening pool game at the World Cup in the Netherlands tomorrow night.

They were decimated by the virus in the recent trans-Tasman series against Australia.

Coach Darren Smith says they need to stay healthy if they are to emerge from a tough pool involving China, England and India.

Pool winners advance directly to the quarterfinals with the second and third placed teams playing crossover matches.
