A chance for mixed martial artist Carlos Ulberg to get past one of the gatekeepers in the UFC's light heavyweight division

The 11 and 1 Kiwi fighter will now take on 57-fight US veteran Anthony Smith in a late change to the UFC 303 card later this month.

Ulberg's original American opponent, Jamahal Hill, withdrew from the bout with a knee injury.

City Kickboxing's Mike Angove says the 35-year-old Smith is no slouch in the octagon.
