Philadelphia have joined Milwaukee in being eliminated in the first round of basketball's NBA playoffs

Philadelphia have joined Milwaukee in being eliminated in the first round of basketball's NBA playoffs

The 76ers hosted the New York Knicks in Game Six, trailing 3-2 in the best-of-seven series... and were knocked out 118 to 115.

It looked dire early on for the hosts, down by 14 after the first quarter - before a big second had the desperate 76ers in front 54-51 at halftime.

But the Knicks tied it back up in the third quarter - then came home to win it by just three points.

They go on to face the Indiana Pacers in the Eastern Conference semifinals, who earlier won a playoff series for the first time in a decade... beating the visiting Milwaukee Bucks 120 to 98 in Game 6, to also triumph 4-2.
