    Breakers coach Petteri Koponen is championing the work ethic of Next Star Karim Lopez despite the 92-84 Australian basketball league loss to the Sydney Kings at Spark Arena


    The 17-year-old put up 18 points before going off injured in the fourth quarter.

    Koponen says Lopez is tenacious.



    The Breakers next visit the JackJumpers on Christmas.
