Breakers coach Petteri Koponen feels unlocking Melbourne United's staunch defence is the key for his side in this afternoon's NBL basketball clash across the ditch

Melbourne conceded just 84 points in their season-opening win against Tasmania, while the Breakers gave up 104 points in their loss to Brisbane.

Koponen says United set the benchmark without the ball.

Breakers forward Sam Mennenga has been ruled out with concussion.

    Tip-off's at 4:30.
