    No Corey Webster? No problem for the Breakers


    They've posted a 90-84 win over the South East Melbourne Phoenix in Christchurch, with Scotty Hopson scoring a team-high 24 points.

    It was their first game since Webster was released to take up a deal in China for the rest of the season.

    Forward Finn Delany chipped in 13 points and pulled down eight rebounds and says they were buoyed by the partisan Cantab crowd.



    The Breakers hope to back up the win against the Illawarra Hawks tomorrow night in Wollongong.

    The Hawks upset Adelaide 93-84.
