    Serbian basketballer Nikola Jokic has won the NBA's "most valuable player" trophy for the third time in four seasons


    The Denver Nuggets superstar has become just the ninth player in league history to complete a hat-trick of MVP awards.

    The Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander - from Canada - was second and the Mavericks' Luka Doncic - from Slovenia - was third...making it the third consecutive season that three players born outside the US finished 1-2-3 in the MVP ballot.
