    24 hours has proven a long time in basketball for the Tall Blacks


    Their Olympic dream has been slam-dunked courtesy of a 104-78 defeat to the Luka Doncic-led Slovenia at the Games-qualifying tournament in Greece.

    New Zealand had given themselves a sniff after an 90-86 win over Croatia.

    Coach Pero Cameron's acknowledged the swing in emotions.



    Doncic finished with 36 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists.
