    The Breakers will be managing Karim Lopez's minutes in their Aussie basketball league season opener against Brisbane tonight in Auckland


    The 18-year-old forward suffered a back injury in pre-season and was one of the players who fell ill earlier in the week.

    The Breakers say they will closely monitor his performance tonight to ensure his recovery is not compromised.

    Meanwhile, guard Izaiah Brockington believes the side can play both sides of the ball better than their rivals this year.



    Tip off is at 7:30pm.
