    Tim Southee continues to be the leading man for the Black Caps on day one of the Boxing Day cricket test in Christchurch


    Southee has taken all three Sri Lankan wickets to leave the visitors at 21 for two.

    Earlier Southee shared in a 108 run seventh wicket partnership with wicketkeeper BJ Watling to lead the New Zealand recovery.

    They were at one stage struggling at 64 for six, before being bowled out 178.
