    A grim outlook for boxer David Light

    A grim outlook for boxer David Light


    He has undergone surgery for a blood clot and is recovering in Auckland Hospital.

    Light received treatment after becoming unwell upon returning home to New Zealand following his bout for the WBO cruiserweight title in Manchester on March 25.

    He reported no ill effects in the aftermath, but sought medical attention on April 5.

    Initially, Light was diagnosed with delayed concussion and discharged because a CT scan was clear.
