The Australian Twenty20 cricket team may be without some of their senior players -- but Black Caps bowler Trent Boult isn't underestimating the side

The Black Caps are hosting Australia in a five match T20 series, with the first being played at Christchurch's Hagley Oval tonight.

The likes of Steve Smith, David Warner and Pat Cummins have been left out of the T20 squad in favour of the test side.

Boult says with the amount of talent in the Australian Big Bash League, there'll be no shortage of class.

The first ball's scheduled for 7pm.
