    Chris Gayle looks set to be granted a farewell cricket match at home


    The veteran West Indian batsman confirmed after the Twenty20 World Cup he had played his last match in a major tournament, but wanted one final game in Jamaica.

    His governing body has scheduled three one-dayers and a standalone T20 against Ireland in Jamaica next month.

    The self-appointed universe boss will not be part of the ODI squad, but it's understood a decision around his inclusion in the T20 match will be discussed at the next board meeting.
