The Black Caps are taking precautionary measures around pace bowler Matt Henry

The seamer's been ruled out of the upcoming T20 series against Australia with hip soreness.

Coach Gary Stead is hopeful Henry will be fit in time for the first test on the 29th February.

Wicketkeeper-batter Tim Seifert will also miss the T20 series after suffering a torn abductor.

Ben Sears and Will Young come into the squad.
