White Ferns skipper Sophie Devine is commending cricket's governing global body for expanding the prize pot at the 50-over World Cup in India and Sri Lanka starting this month

23.5 million dollars are on offer, with the winners securing spoils of 7.6 million.

The 2022 World Cup in New Zealand dished out a total of 5.9 million.
