The Black Caps' late step-ins were a highlight for coach Rob Walters in reviewing the two-nil T20 series defeat against Australia

Tim Robinson unexpectedly came into the XI for an injured Rachin Ravindra in the first match and smashed a century.

Jimmy Neesham was initially left out but joined the squad as injury cover, before playing the second match and taking four wickets.

Walters says delivering when called upon is key to the future success of his team.
