Chasing the Kings' imposing 173 for nine, the Aces never fired - finishing at 132 for 9.

Zac Foulkes and Michael Rae bagged three wickets apiece for the home team - while Kyle Jamieson continued his comeback from a back injury by taking one for 20 off his four overs.

In the women's match, opener Kate Anderson anchored Canterbury's winning run-chase of 139 with an unbeaten 75.
