    Hay made 99 not out off 78 balls to lead New Zealand to an ODI cricket series victory against Pakistan with a game of the three-match rubber to spare.

    The hosts triumphed by 84 runs in the second fixture at Hamilton after posting 292 for eight.

    Ben Sears took five for 59 from 9.2 overs for his best figures in the format.

    The final game is on Saturday in Mount Maunganui.
