A boy wonder has created history in the Indian Premier League

A boy wonder has created history in the Indian Premier League

Vaibhav Suryavanshi , who only turned 14 at the end of March, has smashed 101 off 38 balls to steer the Rajasthan Royals to an eight wicket win over the Gujarat Titans.

He's obliterated the record books, becoming the youngest man to score a senior-level T20 century by more than four years.

His hundred came off 35 balls - the second quickest in IPL history - while 94 runs of his innings came through fours and sixes, the highest boundary percentage in an IPL innings.

Ex-White Fern Katey Martin sums up the innings...

and former Black Cap Danny Morrison suitably impressed too .
